Denise Livingstone, Artist
Denise's work reflects her love of nature in all its forms. Her landscapes usually depict people enjoying life and nature. Her animal and bird paintings have stories of interaction with the subjects. Denise's painting style is realistic and elusive all at once, causing the images to capture and hold your imagination.

Denise paints with oil on canvas, pastel on paper, graphite and ink. Her style is realistic without being overburdened by detail.

Denise Livingstone received art training at Holland College School of Visual Arts in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Her training continued under numerous professional artists.

Denise has offered art classes to both children and adults in group and private settings. Her artwork is included in a number of private collections in both Canada and the United States. Her work can be viewed in local galleries and at a number of shows and exhibits.

Denise resides in the city of Kawartha Lakes with her husband, Stephen, and their three daughters. The other members of the household include two dogs and an egotistical cat named Jasper, none of whom are camera shy or even disturbed to suddenly see the flash of a camera--having resigned themselves to two dimensional immortality on yet another canvas.
